Biography

Reese Holahan is a tenor, voice teacher, and scholar based in Buffalo, NY.
Known for his vocal lyricism, stylistic flexibility, and dramatic potency, he has emerged as a versatile performer capable of connecting with audiences through a wide range of musical styles including opera, musical theatre, oratorio, folk, and chamber music.
His professional engagements include credits as a soloist with Charlottesville Opera, Shenandoah Conservatory Opera, Arts Chorale of Winchester, The Hillman Opera, and Western New York Chamber Orchestra. Upcoming engagements include roles with Buffalo Opera Unlimited.
Reese holds a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy from Shenandoah University and degrees in Voice Performance (Bachelor of Music) and Communication Disorders & Sciences (Bachelor of Science) from SUNY Fredonia. He served as Young Artist at The Collaborative Piano Institute ('24 and '25) and SongFest ('23).​​​
He is a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), The Voice Foundation, and Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA).

He serves as a staff singer with Westminster Choir and Westminster Schola. He also maintains a busy teaching schedule and is currently accepting new students.
In addition to his work with professional voice, Reese holds the position of Communications Coordinator with Arts for Learning WNY, a non-profit dedicated to expanding engagement with arts-integrated education. ​
